Holding Fee:

If the landlord accepts your application, we will request a holding fee equivalent to one month's rent.

This will secure the property and allow the referencing process to commence. When the holding fee is received you will receive a link from HOME LET to your email. If your referencing is successful, the holding fee will form the tenancy deposit which will be protected by a Tenancy Deposit Scheme.

Timeframe:

The tenancy will not commence until all necessary checks have been completed via HOME LET, and the referencing process is complete.

All applicants and their guarantors will have 5 working days to complete the application process. Failure to provide necessary information within this timeframe will result in the property being remarketed.

Costs To The Applicant:

You will be charged a remarketing fee of £200+vat (£240) from your holding fee if:

  • You decide not to proceed with the tenancy after your HOME LET application has begun
  • Any information supplied on your application form is false or incorrect
  • You do not pass referencing checks on affordability or have adverse credit
  • You do not complete the referencing process within 5 working days of commencement
